Please make sure to register correctly at the beginning of the semester to avoid problems with registration and unwanted tuition charges later. Students are responsible for their own registration and for ensuring the accuracy of their schedules. Please refer to the Graduate College Handbook for details about requirements. If you have questions about requirements, please contact your department office.

Students may be released from their obligation to pay ALL tuition and fees by canceling their spring registration by January 16, 2017. You may cancel your registration through Student-Self Service or by submitting a Withdrawal/Cancellation form to your department office. Completed Withdrawal/Cancellation forms must be received in the Graduate College by 5 p.m. January 13, the last business day before instruction begins.

The Diffenbaugh Fellowship Fund, established in 1976 by Harry J. Diffenbaugh, supports graduate students at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign who are or were residents of the State of Missouri.

The University of Illinois' FMC Fellowships support masters- and doctoral-level students who are conducting research in areas related to the work of FMC Technologies, Inc.  Targeted areas are Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Systems/Analytics, Electrical Engineering, Robotics/Mechatronics, Computer Science, Chemical Engineering, and related areas of study.  Preference will be given to students who have research interests in the areas of upstream oil and gas.
