USGS student job description: Hydrologic, hydraulic, and water-quality data analysis and modeling. Database management, and preparation of graphics and tables for publication. Possible fieldwork opportunities in the summer throughout Illinois. (Surveying, sampling wells and rivers, equipment operation.) Full-time summer employment preferred. During semester, 12-20 hours per week between 6:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. in 3-hour blocks strongly desired. Pay rate $12.33 - $15.49 per hour depending on skills and experience.
