I hope this email finds you safe and healthy! Around this time of year, I usually host an in-person LEED training workshops at UIllinois to prepare students for the sustainability demands of the current industry.

Due to the ongoing impact of the Coronavirus, I will be transitioning upcoming in-person workshops to scheduled live webinars. Students will still be able to participate in the identical training, while remaining safe and isolated. I will also continue to offer the on-demand online self-paced option.

With this being said, I was hoping you could send the updated invite below to the undergrads and grads in The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Illinois as some have attended in the past. Your students can also use the discount code ‘green’ for $50 off the course price!

Please send the message below to your students in all years, staff and faculty and reply or CC me on the email you send out, so that I know you received this message!

Dear colleagues:

As the University makes the transition to online instruction, I want you to know that the Writers Workshop will continue to support your students. We have online consultations available to provide writing feedback; we have a number of useful resources on our website; and we are available for virtual class presentations and collaborations by request through Zoom or other interfaces.

Our online consultations use a combination of text-sharing and audio/video/chat features. Please share this information with your students and encourage them to book an appointment!

We are currently evaluating our scheduled presentations through the end of the semester and will update our calendar with more information soon.

Of course, please contact me with any questions. We look forward to working with your students!
