Applications sought for Graduate Student Advisory Board

The Graduate College seeks applications from graduate students to serve on SAGE (Students Advising on Graduate Education) for the 2020-2021 academic year.

SAGE is a student advisory board and leadership opportunity for graduate students that fosters active engagement with the Graduate College. SAGE board members enrich the graduate student community, build leadership skills, and strengthen Graduate College services and programs. It also contributes to the graduate student community at Illinois by providing varied perspectives that enhance the academic, professional, and social experiences of graduate students.

Participants are required to participate in monthly meetings during the fall and spring semesters and have the option to participate in focused project groups. The estimated time commitment is about 3 hours per month.

Applications are welcome from graduate students enrolled in graduate degree programs (including online programs). Applicants should be graduate students in good academic standing who will be registered during 2020-2021.

Applications are available online and must be received by Tuesday, June 30, 2020 (11:59 p.m.).
