CEE470- Structural Analysis, Summer 2020
CEE 470 Structural Analysis is a required course for undergraduate and graduate students with Structures concentration (unless equivalent courses were taken before). The course covers modern topics about the direct stiffness method (DSM) for structural analysis of systems with trusses, beams, and frames; virtual work and energy principles; and introduction to finite element method (FEM). DSM and FEM are the fundamental methods used in modern structural analysis software.
