Remote Learning Seminar by Microsoft
The Covid-19 pandemic created a massive global shift to remote delivery of instruction. The consensus in higher education is that this initial shift should be considered remote learning not online learning. Online learning is a distinct discipline of pedagogy with many implications for course design. The uncertainties that come with Covid-19 mean that you may need to rethink your course design in ways that can effectively deliver the student engagement and outcomes you desire regardless of the delivery mode (e.g., online versus face-to-face).
