WeGoCEE (Women Exploring Graduate Opportunities in Civil and Environmental Engineering) is a professional development and networking workshop focused on introducing womxn undergraduate students to civil and environmental engineering graduate education and research opportunities. The workshop focuses not only on career paths through academia, but also in industry.

This year, WeGoCEE is going virtual! The free virtual event held over two half-days includes seminars on topics like: preparing for and applying to graduate school, writing effective fellowship applications and developing leadership skills, as well as faculty and graduate student panels, a keynote lecture by a prominent CEE at Illinois alumna, and opportunities for mentoring and networking. Small virtual breakout groups will allow attendees to have more in depth conversations with current graduate students. The workshop is a unique opportunity for junior and senior undergraduate students to learn about how to prepare for graduate education, as well as to learn about the CEE at Illinois graduate program.
