CEE alumnus inducted into Engineering at Illinois Hall of Fame.

CEE alumnus George M. C. Fisher (BS 62) was inducted into the Engineering at Illinois Hall of Fame on April 23. The Hall of Fame, now in its first year, recognizes Illinois engineering alumni, and others affiliated with the college, who have had significant achievements in leadership, entrepreneurship, and innovation of great impact to society.
Fisher is a worldwide entrepreneurial leader, former President and Chief Executive Officer of Motorola, and retired Chief Executive Officer of Eastman Kodak Company. In addition to earning his bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Fisher was awarded an Honorary Degree from the University of Illinois in 1996.
