Associate Professor Mani Golparvar Fard has been named to Engineering News-Record’s (ENR) first National Top 20 under 40 list.
In January 2017, Golparvar Fard was selected by ENR as a Top Young Professional for the Midwest region. More than 400 winning entries from all ENR regions were subsequently reviewed by a panel of judges in order to create a national list of 20 individuals who are making an impact in the design and construction industries.
During the regional selection process, individuals are recognized based on professional excellence, leadership, and service to their profession and community. ENR Midwest highlighted Golparvar-Fard’s technical expertise and academic guidance during his tenure at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He was also recognized for the number of patents he holds and the work he does through his start-up company, Reconstruct Inc., which grew out of his ongoing research projects.
