Ma receives NSF CAREER Award
CEE Assistant Professor Hongbo Ma has won a CAREER Award from the National Science Foundation (NSF) for his project on the Morphodynamics of Delta Channel Networks at the Decadal Scales.

CEE graduate student receives prestigious ASCE fellowship
Ishfaq Aziz CEE graduate student Ishfaq Aziz has received the Trent R. Dames and William W. Moore Fellowship. Aziz is one of only two students to receive this highly selective fellowship from ASCE, awarded to recipients to further the exploration of new applications of geotechnical engineering or the earth sciences to social, economic, environmental, and political issues.
