Eligibility
Those with bachelor of science (B.S.) degrees or the equivalent from an accredited college in the United States or a recognized institution of higher learning abroad are eligible to apply to one of the CEE master's programs. Those with a bachelor's degree and a master of science (M.S.) degree may apply for one of the CEE doctoral (Ph.D.) programs. You must have earned a master's degree to be eligible for the doctoral programs.
If you have a B.S. degree and your goal is to earn a Ph.D., you should apply for the M.S. and then explain in your statement of purpose that your goal is to receive a Ph.D. On the graduate application you will be asked if you intend to continue for a doctoral degree.
