Course Description
Survey of offshore industries, structures, and site characterization. Renewable energy systems, offshore developments. Wave generation phenomenon, statistics, and linear theory. Hydrodynamic forces on offshore structures. Seabed sediment transport and scour. Geotechnical design aspects of subsea pipelines, cables, foundations, and anchor piles are covered in this course.
