1. Complete the Engineering Group Ticket Request.  A confirmation email will be sent with your reservation status and seating.  Limited seats are available.
2. Submit payment at 206 Engineering Hall.  Payment must be via check or money order ONLY, payable to the “UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS”. (NO CASH.) Tickets are $8 (USD) each.
3. Pick up ticket(s) at 206 Engineering Hall or at the Krannert Center “Will Call” Ticket Counter.

The Economics Department is offering Proficiency Exams for Microeconomic Principles (ECON 102) and Macroeconomic Principles (ECON 103) throughout the semester (upcoming online and on-campus formats in October, November, and December).

Students may visit the Economics website to read more about the exams, formats offered, upcoming dates, and registration:


General Information:

On-Campus Online or Written formats have a set capacity~ we plan on offering these at least twice per semester (upcoming dates in October & December) ProctorU Online format has unlimited spots, flexible times within the three-day period, but is at the student’s expense (ProctorU costs)~ we plan on offering these monthly (upcoming dates in October, November, and December) Students may only take each exam once, and those passing will receive credit (students are notified of results within a 1-2 week period) If students received ECON 1—credit for AP or transfer courses, but have the micro or macro background, they are encouraged to take the proficiency exams (syllabi and general information on the exams are on the website)

Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) UIUC Student Chapter is hosting a tour of the MTD Operations Center, which is the heart of the MTD day-to-day operations. The Controllers use dispatching software and video feeds to monitor service and provide the safest and most responsive bus service possible. The tour will be on Tuesday, Sept. 27, 6:00 PM at the MTD Operations Center in Urbana (not the Illinois Terminal!).
