Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) has several entry-level Construction Engineering positions to be advertised shortly.  They also have several internship opportunities that are already posted to the state job bank. The one credit hour course on undergraduate research safety will be offered as a 2nd half semester course. Any student interested in undergraduate research should take this course. It will help prepare you for the laboratory environment.

Course:                ENG 198 FAS
Meets:                 3:30-4:50 TR
Credit:                  1 hour
Dates:                   March 14 – May 2
Description:        Essential for students who will perform undergraduate research in a laboratory. Topics include chemical, electrical, biological and radiation safety, cryogens, laser and machine/mechanical safety, waste disposal and fire hazards. Lecture and demonstration format.

This course is available to all students in science and engineering majors.   Students in the Engineering College can register directly.

KaTO is an architecture/engineering office which partners with universities to involve students in designing social projects. This summer, they are getting a team together to design a school in the Dominican Republic, and applications will be open until February 17 for students interested in joining the design team and traveling to the DR.
