Graduate College December Hooding Ceremony

Saturday, December 10, 2016
10:30 a.m. to noon
Foellinger Great Hall in the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts

Join the Graduate College for the inaugural Doctoral Hooding Ceremony. The focus of the ceremony is the formal "hooding" of doctoral degree recipients, often by their faculty advisers. Each year, approximately 500 students receive their doctoral degrees in August and December. This ceremony offers doctoral degree recipients, along with faculty mentors, an opportunity to celebrate their achievement closer to the time of degree completion.
