The 100th Illinois Transportation and Highway Engineering conference (THE) will take place on campus March 25-26 with pre-conference activities, including short courses, ATREL open house and Fish Fry offered on March 24. Special events will also include food and exhibits in the Illini Union and live music, food and drinks on Tuesday evening.

Monday Pre-Conference Activities

Short Courses- 4 short courses will take place at the Civil & Environmental Engineering Yeh Centeron the University of Illinois Campus on Monday, March 24th.  Each short course is $50 and provides 3 PDH’s.  If you register for both a morning and afternoon short course, a boxed lunch will be provided.  They include:

9:00 am -12:00 pm:           Asphalt Thermal Cracking Test and Spec: Intro to the DC (T)

9:00 am- 12:00 pm:           AASHTO Pavement ME Design, a new design paradigm

1:00 pm- 4:00 pm:              Pavement Evaluation

1:00 pm- 4:00 pm:              Sustainable Design / Construction
