Students who are interested in short-term study abroad programs for this summer have an additionally opportunity to apply!

Clorox will be on campus again this year for our 6th Annual Clorox Product Design Competition. We are hoping you will be able to share the attached documents and blurb below with your students. 6th Annual Clorox Product Design Competition & Tech Talk

The Career Center is hosting an event for students Friday, the 21st, in partnership with Research Park.  We will be having a panel discussion (with lunch provided!) on how to land an internship at Research Park and make the most of the opportunities there.  Please encourage any of your students that may be interested in interning at Research Park now or in the future to attend.  The event will be at noon in Illini Union room 407.  Our panelists will include representatives from:

I'm writing to share some upcoming Writers Workshop events, which I hope you'll pass along to your students. We're offering two workshops for undergraduates next week:

Applications for the Summer 2020 I STAR position is now open. It can be found online via Handshake, the Illinois Job Board, or online here: go.illinois.edu/ISTAR. Students working with us over the summer will help facilitate our Campus Visit and New Student Registration programs.

 

Research Support Grant (RSG)  This grant provides students from all disciplines with the funds necessary to conduct research or creative projects during the academic year both on and off campus (including summer terms). Awards will be up to $2,000 and are meant to cover research travel costs, living expenses incurred during academic breaks (i.e., winter break and summer terms, NOT regular semester living expenses), and materials or other ancillary costs.

Conference Travel Grant (CTG) This grant provides awards of up to $350 for undergraduate students to travel to professional conferences to present their research posters, papers, or creative works. Please note, the Office of Undergraduate Research does not provide funds for conference travel for attendance only; grants are meant for students who will present their work.
