Favorite college memory:
Spending long nights at Grainger studying with friends and having fun along the way.

Immediate plans:
Working for AECOM Hunt in Chicago.

Future plans:
Some day being able to look at a city skyline and say "I built that!"

Favorite college memory:
Participating in Geo-Wall competition 2019.

Immediate plans:
Going back home to Malaysia and working as an investments analyst.

Future plans:
Completing an MBA and managing an investment fund.

Kristin Anderson

Favorite college memory:
My favorite college memory was making friends because we were always in the same classes. Also being able to be a collegiate athlete as well as an engineer.

Immediate plans:
I will be attending Grad school in the fall at UIUC and plan on getting a Master's degree in Environmental Engineering.

Future plans:
All I know is that in 5-10 years I want to own a dog.

Matthaios Aravosis

Favorite college memory:
Joining 10 clubs across campus immediately after transferring to U of I. It made me feel more at home and I've kept many of the friends I made to this day.

Immediate plans:
Moving to the Boston area for a Project Engineer position at EBI Consulting. Also, getting a dog.

Future plans:
Pursue my Master's in Real Estate, then return to Chicago to work on development projects with Historical Landmark designation.

ASCE Great Lakes Student Conference at Valparaiso University

Immediate plans:
Summer internship at Langan Engineering and Environmental Services, graduate school at UC Berkeley

Future plans:
Job at consulting industry and get PE license

Favorite college memory:
Studying abroad in Paris.

Immediate plans:
Masters in structural engineering here at UIUC.

Future plans:
Become a structural engineer and design buildings.

Favorite college memory:
Going to Engineering Barn Dance with my friends and travelling with EWB.

Immediate plans:
Moving to Minnesota to work in industry.

Future plans:
I plan to get my PE license and hopefully move somewhere warm!

Jake Benner

Favorite college memory:
The fun, simple nights just hanging out with friends.

Immediate plans:
I have accepted a full-time job with Turner Construction and will begin in the fall.

Future plans:
I plan to become a project manager on the most iconic construction projects in the Chicagoland area.

Favorite college memory:
My favorite college memory has been following the Fighting Illini basketball team this past season. As a long-time fan, it was so fun to wrap up my college career cheering on an Illini team that was long-overdue for some success!

Immediate plans:
Working as a Management Consultant for West Monroe Partners within their Energy and Utilities practice.

Future plans:
I plan to get my MBA and hopefully start my own company.

Favorite college memory:
My favorite college memory is going to the Dad's Weekend football game and getting to spend time with my family as well as the friends I have made at Illinois.

Immediate plans:
I accepted an offer to work as a project engineer at W.E O'Neill Construction in Chicago.

Future plans:
I hope to be continuing my career at W.E O'Neill as a project manager.

Favorite college memory:
Hanging out on the quad with friends!

Immediate plans:
Graduate school at the U of I.

Future plans:
I hope to become a structural engineer.

Favorite college memory:
Getting through lots of long nights and impactful civil courses while being surrounded by good friends.

Immediate plans:
I am thrilled to be working in downtown Chicago as a Project Engineer for Clark Construction.

Future plans:
My future goals are to continue my education with a MBA and transition to the business side of construction development.

Favorite college memory:
Sitting in a lecture with my friends. Then later sitting in Legends with the same friends. #RTR

Immediate plans:
I will be coming back to U of I to pursue my Master's in CEE!

Future plans:
My plan is to graduate with my Master's and then go to work for an environmental consulting firm.

Favorite college memory:
Becoming president of the recreational volleyball club.

Immediate plans:
Work with Kiewit as a structural engineering intern (Co-op). Then start my Masters program in structural engineering in the spring of 2021.

Future plans:
I plan on working as a structural engineer and attaining my P.E. License. If possible, also my S.E. license.

Favorite college memory:
Junior year, storming the court after the men's basketball team upset #9 Michigan State.

Immediate plans:
Returning to campus in Fall 2020 to pursue an MSCE.

Future plans:
Get a job, move somewhere, get married, pursue SE license, become LEED accredited.

Chung-Lin Chan

Favorite college memory:
Conference travel with my awesome colleagues!

Immediate plans:
Continue to conduct some part time research work in the RailTEC and looking for full time engineer/data scientist positions in the U.S.

Future plans:
Enrich my industry experiences and see what's the best for my next steps.

Stanley Chiang

Favorite college memory:
Studying abroad in Sydney, Australia!

Immediate plans:
Interning with Tesla as a Tool Install Intern and going back to Illinois to pursue a Masters in Civil Engineering with GLCM.

Future plans:
Living life to the fullest as a civil engineer and world traveler!
