The purpose of the Civil and Environmental Engineering Alumni Association (CEEAA) is to inspire loyalty and pride among alumni and friends by developing and enhancing their continued relationship with the department.
Our alumni and friends actively support the department by:
- Mentoring students
- Presenting seminars
- Speaking to classes
- Attending student-sponsored activities
- Supporting student organizations
- Participating in the annual Professional Development Fair
- Giving to the CE Trust Fund, which supports student and faculty activities
- Advertising in the CEE Magazine
Our graduates are invited to join the department at alumni activities, such as receptions at professional conferences, the Chicago Regional Dinner Meeting, and the Springfield Alumni Dinner Meeting. Always Illinois, an online community of Illinois alumni, allows you to get virtually involved by joining the Civil and Environmental Engineering group, where you can read about what's going on in the department and with your fellow CEE alumni, or post announcements yourself.
