Lecturer - Geotechnical Engineering

The Civil and Environmental Engineering Department in The Grainger College of Engineering seeks applicants for a full-time Lecturer in Geotechnical Engineering.

The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in geotechnical engineering. Teaching load for this 9-month appointment is expected to be 3 to 4 courses with a maximum of 2 courses per semester. This is a non-tenure-track, benefits-eligible position with primary responsibilities in teaching.

Program Coordinator - Illinois Center for Transportation

The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering in The Grainger College of Engineering is seeking a Program Coordinator for the Illinois Center for Transportation (ICT).

This individual will be responsible for coordinating the functions of ICT and serve as a liaison between the Director, faculty, staff, students, and external parties; utilizing creative thinking and problem solving to enhance and develop processes and operations to strive for optimal productivity and effectiveness.

This position is located at the Illinois Center for Transportation (ICT) in Rantoul, IL. ICT is located on Rantoul’s former Chanute Air Force Base and the future site of the 238+ acre Illinois Autonomous and Connected Track (I-ACT). ICT leads the rapidly growing field of smart mobility.
