El-Gohary appointed Co-Editor-in-Chief of the ASCE Journal of Computing in Civil Engineering

Professor Nora El-Gohary has been appointed Co-Editor-in-Chief of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Journal of Computing in Civil Engineering, with Yong Kwon Cho, Professor at the Georgia Institute of Technology.

As expressed in ASCE’s announcement, El-Gohary brings a distinguished record of scholarship and dedicated service within the field of computing in civil engineering. She is recognized for her expertise in data analytics and artificial intelligence. Before taking on the role of Co-Editor-in-Chief, El-Gohary had served as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Computing in Civil Engineering for over a decade and has previously held the position of the Chair of the Executive Committee of the ASCE Computing Division.
