Alfredo and Myrtle Mae Ang Fellowship

The Alfredo and Myrtle Mae Ang Fellowships provides support for graduate students majoring in structural engineering and structural mechanics.

Professor emeritus Alfredo H.-S. Ang (MS 57, PhD 59) served on the CEE faculty from 1959 until 1988. His main area of research was on the application of probability and reliability in civil and structural engineering, with emphasis on the safety of engineering systems, including seismic risk and earthquake engineering, quantitative risk assessment, life-cycle cost and performance, and sustainability of green buildings and infrastructure.
