Job Shadow Program

The Spring Break Job Shadow Program offers students the opportunity to gain industry exposure through experiencing a “day-in-the-life” of a professional engineer. Students register to spend one day over spring break shadowing at the company of their choice, making valuable connections and helping to inform their own interests and career paths.

The program is hosted by the Civil and Environmental Engineering Alumni Association and takes place each year over Spring Break. The activities planned for each shadow are determined by the company. Students are responsible for providing their own transportation to and from the shadow experience.
