Biography

Wilbur C. Milhouse III, President/CEO of Milhouse Engineering & Construction Inc., is an award-winning entrepreneur who parlayed more than 25 years of diversified civil and structural engineering experience into a global enterprise that has drawn national and local attention.

Founded in 2001, Milhouse Engineering & Construction Inc. is a professional full service engineering firm headquartered in Chicago. Today, the firm has an experienced and talented staff of over 200 professionals with seven office locations throughout the United States. Milhouse has indulged his passion for the community and the engineering profession with an extensive involvement in civic, charitable and professional groups. 

In 2012, Milhouse extended his reach to the community by co-founding Milhouse Charities, a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the academic achievement and opportunities for minorities and other underrepresented youth by supporting STEM focused organizations. On the international stage, Milhouse is working with the University of Nigeria, Nsukka to build a power plant. This effort will create sufficient and reliable power for the school, surrounding community, and eventually, the country as a whole. 

Milhouse is a proud alumnus of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he earned both his M.S. in Structural Engineering and B.S. in Civil Engineering. In addition, he holds seven professional engineering licenses in the United States.
