2:00 p.m. 

RIBBON CUTTING CEREMONY
Under the Kavita and Lalit Bahl Smart Bridge on Main Street, between Newmark Lab and the new CEE building (301 N. Mathews Ave., Urbana)
With special guests planned including UIUC President Timothy L. Killeen, Provost Andreas C. Cangellaris, Dean Rashid Bashir and remarks by CEE Department Head Ana Barros.

3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

OPEN HOUSE 
Guests are invited to take self-guided tours of the new building and visit named spaces on each floor for individual photo opportunities.  Ribbons and scissors will be available near the drink stations on each floor to use as photo props.

In addition to the main building ribbon cutting ceremony, a separate ribbon cutting ceremony will be held for each floor. Each floor's donors and named space honorees are invited to join the group photo for their floor(s) at the following times:

Basement - 3:30 p.m.  |  First floor - 4:00 p.m.  |  Second floor - 4:30 p.m.
Smart Bridge - 5:00 p.m.  |  Third Floor - 5:30 p.m.

SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS 
Transportation Classroom (Room 3019)
Beginning at 3:00 p.m., a series of presentations will take place in the Transportation Classroom. Guests are invited to attend any sessions of interest. Times and speakers noted below. Note that floor ribbon cuttings will be held concurrently.

3:00 p.m. - Overview of the Vernon L. Snoeyink Water Chemistry and John T. Pfeffer Sanitation and Resource Recovery Labs, by assistant professor R.D. Cusick

3:30 p.m. - Understanding water in the natural and built environment: Overview of the Water Resources Engineering and Science Labs, by assistant professor Rafael Tinoco Lopez 

4:00 p.m. - Learn about the Kavita and Lalit Bahl Smart Bridge, by professor Bill Spencer's structural engineering students  

6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

COCKTAIL RECEPTION
Cocktails and hors d'oeuvres on the bridge and third floor gathering spaces.
