CEE grad students win poster session prizes

Grad students Laura Gray and Jenni Nugent walked away with poster session prizes at the 2022 Geo-Resolution Conference in Saint Louis on September 28, 2022.

Two CEE at Illinois graduate students walked away with poster session prizes at the 2022 Geo-Resolution Conference hosted by National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and Saint Louis University (SLU) on September 28, 2022.

Laura Gray received first place for her poster, Impacts of global climate change on total runoff. Gray is co-advised by CEE at Illinois associate professor Ashlynn S. Stillwell and assistant professor Lei Zhao. Jenni Nugent, who is advised by Stillwell, received third place for her poster, Monthly Virtual Blue and Grey Water Transfers on the U.S. Electric Grid.

Poster topics covered a wide range of research topics connected to geospatial sciences or using geospatial tools. Winners were determined by a panel of geospatial experts led by SLU faculty member Ness Sandoval.
