CEE undergrad programs continue to rank among the best in the nation

CEE at Illinois undergraduate programs continue to rank among the top in the nation. According to the new 2027 US News and World Report rankings, Illinois' civil engineering undergraduate program moved up a position to rank third Best Undergraduate Civil Engineering Program, and the environmental engineering program placed sixth Best Undergraduate Environmental/Environmental Engineering Program.

Civil and environmental engineering at The Grainger College of Engineering, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign consistently ranks among the top in the nation for both undergraduate and graduate programs. Earlier this year, the civil engineering and environmental engineering graduate programs ranked first and fifth, respectively. The CEE Online M.S. program ranked number two, making it the sixth year in a row that the program has been in the top two positions.

Overall, The Grainger College of Engineering undergraduate engineering program ranked sixth Best Undergraduate Engineering Programs. Nine engineering programs at Illinois, including civil and environmental, ranked in the top ten.
