Alumni gathered in the Yeh Student Center in fall 2013 to mark the 50th anniversary of the CEE Alumni Association board of directors.

Five alumni were elected to the board of directors of the Civil and Environmental Engineering Alumni Association (CEEAA) this summer. The election also ratified the appointment of a new slate of officers.

Those joining the board for four-year terms spanning 2014-2018 are:

  • Nicholas L. Canellis (BS 94), Project Executive at Turner Construction Company, Chicago.
  • John E. Conroyd, (BS 83, MS 85), Vice President at Tishman Construction, Chicago.
  • James K. Klein (BS 78) Acting Bureau Chief, Bureau of Local Roads and Streets, at Illinois Department of Transportation, Springfield.
  • David A. Schoenwolf (BS 77, MS 78), Senior Vice President at Haley & Aldrich, McLean, Virginia.
  • Daniel J. Whalen (BS 84, MS 85), Senior Vice President at Hanson Professional Services, Springfield.

Those board members who were elected to two-year officer positions spanning 2014-2016 are:

  • CEEAA President Allen J. Staron (BS 74), Senior Vice President at Clark Dietz Inc., Chicago.
  • CEEAA Past President Tracy K. Lundin (BS 80, MS 82), Project Manager at Fermilab, Chicago.
  • CEEAA Vice President Colleen E. Quinn (BS 84), Vice President at Ricondo & Associates, Chicago.
  • CEEAA Second Vice President John P. Kos (BS 77), Vice President at Lochner, Chicago.
