A paper by CEE alumnus John T. Trimmer (PhD 19) as lead author and CEE associate professor Jeremy Guest as corresponding author has been named the Top Paper in Environmental Policy for 2020 by the journal Environmental Science & Technology. Guest was Trimmer's Ph.D. adviser. Additional authors are Daniel C. Miller, Diana M. Byrne, Hannah A. C. Lohman, Noble Banadda, Katherine Baylis, Sherri M. Cook, R. D. Cusick, Fulgensio Jjuuko, Andrew J. Margenot and Assata Zerai. Cusick is an assistant professor in CEE at Illinois. Lohman (BS 16, MS 18) is a current Ph.D. student and alumna of CEE at Illinois.
