Stark honored with ASCE's Geo-institute award

CEE at Illinois Ralph B. Peck Professor of Civil Engineering Timothy Stark has been named the 2027 recipient of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Ralph B. Peck Award. ASCE's Geo-Institute selected Stark for "his contributions to research and teaching on the static and seismic stability of natural and man-made dams, slopes, embankments, and earth structures.”  The award medal and honorarium will be presented in Philadelphia, Pa. in March 2027, during the ASCE conference.
