Teng & Associates Inc. of Chicago has won a Special Achievement Award from the American Council of Engineering Companies of Illinois (ACEC-IL) for their work on the Yeh Student Center. Special Achievement Awards are given for projects "worthy of special recognition of the engineer and the owner/client for achieving engineering excellence."
The award was presented before an audience of more than 300 engineers, clients and government officials at an awards luncheon Feb. 3 at The Marriott in Bloomington-Normal, Ill. In all, 51 Illinois firms were recognized in ACEC-IL’s Forty-First Annual Engineering Excellence Awards Competition. The competition recognized outstanding projects designed by private practice engineering firms from throughout the state.
