Favorite college memory:
One of my favorite memories related to the CEE department is the Spring 2022 Chi Epsilon "wine and cheese" social! Professor Barros, CEE department head, graciously hosted the event at her house. We had great attendance from both faculty and students, and we even celebrated Professor Garcia's birthday with cake! The event was a great way to mark the official return to in-person activities.

Outside of the CEE department, another of my favorite memories is the Marching Illini trip to Ireland to perform in the 2022 St. Patrick's Day parade in Dublin. The entire trip was exciting, and it was so fun to travel and explore Ireland with some of my closest friends!

Immediate plans:
Over the summer, I will be interning at TGRWA, a structural engineering firm in Chicago. This fall, I will be returning to UIUC to pursue a master's degree in Structural Engineering, performing research on damaged steel bridge girders with Professors Larry Fahnestock and James LaFave.

Future plans:
After earning a master's degree, I plan to go into industry! I am not sure about the details, but I hope to work in the Chicago area and look forward to contributing to exciting projects.
