The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering held its annual Fall Kick-Off event welcoming students back to the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign campus.

First-year students took a moment to mark the beginning of their Illinois journey with a group photo before joining the rest of the CEE community on the North Quad, where they had the opportunity to eat dinner and ice cream, connect with new and old friends, and engage with CEE faculty and staff. 

Additionally, nearly 20 CEE Registered Student Organizations (RSOs) had tables throughout the quad, alongside the CEE Alumni Association, to talk with students and share more about their organizations and services.
