Classical and modern earth pressure theories and their experimental justification; pressures and bases for design of retaining walls, bracing of open cuts, anchored bulkheads, cofferdams, tunnels, and culverts. Course Information: Prerequisite: Credit or concurrent registration in CEE 484.
