UPDATE: Due to the widening COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak, the physical EES symposium has been canceled and organizers are exploring options for hosting a virtual symposium. Visit https://environmentalsymposium.cee.illinois.edu/ to keep abreast of updates.

Graduate students from a wide variety of backgrounds and specialties will gather to present their research, ideas and visions for the future at the 26th annual Environmental Engineering and Science (EES) Symposium. The theme of this year’s symposium, “Envisioning the Future of Environmental Engineering,” was chosen by the organizers to arouse concerns about the increasing need for an ecologically sustainable future.

Held each spring semester, the symposium gives graduate students in the EES program an opportunity to present their current research to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign community. The event will be held on Friday, April 3, 2020 from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the iHotel and Conference Center in Champaign.

More information about the EES Symposium is available at https://environmentalsymposium.cee.illinois.edu/about/
